Transferring a Pet
If you are receiving or rehoming a pet with an existing Global Pet Security profile, please follow the instructions below. (Note: If you received your new pet from a Pet Provider please follow the steps for Registering a Pet as the initial activation process is not the same as the process of transferring a pet from one Pet Parent to another.) Due to security reasons this option requires action from both the previous owner and the new owner. There is a $25.00 service charge for this transaction.
1. New owner must download the Global Pet Security mobile app and create an account.
2. Previous owner must complete the “Transfer Pet Form” from this link. Note: The $25.00 charge is processed on this form.
